Health and Safety

Hussein Est. is committed to provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for the wellbeing of our employees, contractors, customers, visitors and stakeholders. Prevention of workplace injury or illness is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, in our Integrated HSE Management Policy, we have several clauses dedicated to health & safety. Some of the key elements of the Policy include:

Achieve and maintain compliance with the laws, legislations, regulations, and international standards of occupational health and safety.

Eliminate hazards into the workplace, by establishing the HSE related requirements in the procurement of materials, services, vendor and subcontract agreements.

Consult with and encourage employees to identify hazards, eliminate or control risks.

Where relevant, provide employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and instruct them in its correct use.

Develop an effective workplace Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan. Implement appropriate training of personnel and conduct periodic drills for effective evacuation and response to workplace emergencies.
